HOW uHIRED WORKS

What happens between a job board and your shortlist

  1. 01

    Hourly collection

Shared searches for each tracked role and location run every hour against public job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Google Jobs. One search serves everyone who follows the same role and city, and no user’s private data is used to fetch jobs.

  2. 02

    Cleaning and de-duplication

The same opening is often re-posted on several boards with slightly different titles. Listings that share a source ID or application link, or the same employer, title, and location within seven days, are merged so each opportunity appears once.

  3. 03

    Structured details

Titles are mapped to a canonical role, locations and remote status are normalised, and the minimum years of experience is read from the description with fixed rules. When a posting does not state a minimum, we say so instead of guessing from the job title.

  4. 04

    Data you can inspect

The skills named in each posting feed the market data on this site and an optional resume comparison that runs in your browser. Signed-in users get a private 72-hour feed scored against their CV. Read the full methodology.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Is uHired an employer or a recruitment agency?

No. uHired does not hire, place candidates, or take part in any employer’s selection process. It organises openings that employers and recruiters have already published elsewhere, and every application happens on the original employer or job-board website.

Who writes the guides?

The uHired editorial team at Spex Labs, the people who build the product. Every guide is reviewed before it is published and shows the date it was last updated. The editorial policy explains how guides are researched, checked, and corrected, and how advertising is kept separate.

Where does the hiring data come from?

From the openings uHired collects from public job boards through shared hourly searches. After duplicates are merged, we count openings, employers, stated experience, remote eligibility, and the skills each posting names. The data describes what employers published, which is not the whole job market; the methodology page explains every number.

How fresh are the listings?

Searches run hourly and job pages show openings first seen in the last 72 hours, newest first. Older postings drop off automatically. A posting can still close at the source before it ages out, so always confirm on the employer’s site that a role is open.

Does uHired keep my resume?

Not on public pages: pasted resume text is processed by JavaScript in your browser tab and is never sent to uHired’s servers. If you create an account and upload a CV, it is stored so your private feed can be matched to it. The privacy page lists exactly what is stored.

How do I report a suspicious or incorrect listing?

Email hello@spexlabs.in with the job title, employer, and the page where you saw it. Genuine employers never ask for a fee to interview or join; our guide to spotting fake job offers explains the warning signs.
