How we write, check, and update.
How our guides are researched, written, checked, and updated, how listings and data are handled, and how advertising is kept separate from everything else on the site.

Who writes the guides
Guides on uHired are written and edited by the uHired editorial team at Spex Labs, the same people who build the product. They are written for one audience — software professionals looking for work in India, the UAE, and remote roles — and they aim to answer the questions that come up in a real search: what a role involves, which skills employers ask for, how hiring rounds work, and how to avoid common mistakes and scams.
How guides are researched
- Job postings first. Our role guides start from what employers actually publish. The live market snapshots inside each role guide are computed from the openings uHired has collected in the last 72 hours, using the method described on How matching works.
- Primary sources for rules and processes. Where a guide touches on law, tax, or immigration — notice periods, offer letters, visas — we rely on official sources and say clearly when something varies by employer, contract, or state. Those sections are general information, not legal or tax advice.
- No invented numbers. We do not publish salary figures, success rates, or statistics we cannot trace to a source or to our own data. When we give an example, it is labelled as an example.
How guides are checked
Every guide is reviewed by a member of the team before it is published and again when it is updated. Reviews check facts, links, and whether the advice still matches how hiring works today. Writing tools, including AI-assisted drafting, may help with first drafts, outlines, or editing; a person is responsible for every published guide and checks it before it goes live.
Updates and corrections
Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We review guides when hiring practices, tools, or rules change, and at least once a year. If you find an error, email hello@spexlabs.in with the page and the sentence in question. We fix factual errors promptly and change the update date when the substance of a guide changes.
Listings and data
Job listings are collected from public job boards and are summarised rather than copied: uHired keeps the facts needed to organise an opening and links to the original posting for the full description. Market snapshots are calculated automatically from those listings and describe what employers published in the last 72 hours, not the entire job market.
Advertising and independence
uHired may show advertising on public pages. Ads are served by third parties such as Google, are labelled, and are placed separately from guides and job cards. Advertisers do not pay for, review, or influence our guides, the order of job listings, match scores, or market snapshots, and we do not accept payment for placement in search results or guides.
